When whisky investors briefly discuss bottles among each other, the statements are often based on emotions. Rarely, whisky investors use data to compare bottles with each other to conclude which bottle has the most upside potential in the future🔮. One reason is that such data is not readily available. Another reason is that one does not know how to apply such data for investment decisions. It is like myself that I do not know how to prepare a good meal with stunning ingredients in front of me. In this article we analyze how the Suntory Hakushu whiskies with an age are valued by calculating the historical market premium. By comparing the secondary market prices to the official retail prices from Suntory, we assess how the bottles are valued with each other. In this analysis we consider three different bottles.
