Unfortunately, we don’t have good news to report in the second-last month of 2023 yet. Year-to-date most of the indexes have been diving deeper and deeper in November.
The average return for November 2023 was -2.8% for the 53 Spirits Invest Indexes. For comparison, in October 2023 the average return was -2.7%.
Only 12 of the 53 Spirits Invest indexes were green, whereas 41 indexes fell compared to the end of October 2023. Currently we have 43 whisky, 2 bourbon, 7 rum and 1 gin Spirits Invest Indexes.
1) Investors keep losing interest in Japanese whisky 🤷🏼♂️
2) Not much better in Scotland ⛈️
3) Van Winkle and George T. Stagg are still not on speaking terms
4) A mixed picture for rum and gin
